About Us
The Biotechnology Center (BTC) at NCHU is the first genetic engineering research center established in Taiwan. BTC coordinates and integrates multidisciplinary faculty to pursue excellence in teaching, research and service. BTC bridges the fundamental research and the practical applications of biotechnology to enhance collaboration between academia and industry, aiming to advance biotechnological industries in Taiwan.
BTC is dedicated to: 1). personnel training and development via excellent teaching and research programs; 2). Development of cutting-edge techniques for biotech industries; and 3). cooperation with domestic and international institutes for novel technology development.
