Profile

Dr. Chien-Chen Lai obtained his B.S. in chemistry (1994) and Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from National Taiwan University (2000) under the supervision of Prof. Guor-Rong Her. Dr. Lai joined the faculty at Institute of Molecular Biology, National Chung-Hsing University, Taiwan in 2006, where he was promoted to full professor in 2011, and named Distinguished Professor in 2012. He served as the president of Taiwan Society for Mass Spectrometry (TSMS) from 2019/07 to 2021/10. His research focuses on mass spectrometry, proteomics and metabolomics.
