Dr. Ching-Chou Wu is a professor in the Department of Bio-industrial Mechatronics Engineering (BIME), National Chung Hsing University (NCHU). He received his Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, National Cheng-Kung University, Taiwan, in 2003. Then, he served as a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. Tomokazu Matsue’s group in Tohoku University, Japan, from 2003 to 2005. Dr. Wu joined NCHU in 2005 as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Professor in 2014, then became a Distinguished Professor since 2018. Dr. Wu was the Chair of BIME (2017-2020), member of MOST review committee in Department of Life Science as well as Department of Engineering and Technologies (2017-2019), and the President of the Association of Chemical Sensors in Taiwan (ACST) (2018-2020). Dr. Wu has more than 48 peer-reviewed publications as well as 20 patents and received funding from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan, Minitry of Education, cooperative industrial companies, and Navy Medical Research Center, USA. He currently serves as the stirring member of the Asian Conference of Chemical Sensors, and the editorial board member of the journals, Critical Reviews™ in Biomedical Engineering (Begell House), Biosensors (MDPI), Biomedical Microdevices (Springer Nature), and Biosensors and Bioelectronics: X (Elsevier).
