Profile
Dr. Shu-Ping Lin obtained her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University in 2008. She was a visiting research associate in Dr. Themis Kyriakides’s laboratory at Yale University from 2006 to 2007. She worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences, Academia Sinica (2008-2009), and an independent researcher at Industrial Technology Research Institute (2009-2010). In 2010, she joined Graduate Institute of Biomedical Engineering, National Chung Hsing University, as an assistant professor. She was promoted as an associate professor in 2016. She has published papers in reputed journals, such as Advanced Functional Materials, Matter, NanoToday, Biomaterials, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Nano Energy, npj 2D Materials and Applications, Biomacromolecules, Nanotechnology, PLoS ONE, Sensors and Actuators A-Physical, Biomedical Microdevices, Sensors, and Applied Surface Science, etc. Her present research is centered on integrating biomaterials with nano/micro sensing devices and material chemistry based on biomedical engineering. It extends to several closely related areas including: bioelectronics for neuromorphic emulation, FET devices for biosensing, neuronal interfaces, biocompatible nano/micro biosensors, biocompatible and surface functional modification, and biopolymers for cell and tissue engineering.
